Material of the Lace sleeve MacBook
For the Lace sleeve MacBook we are using vegetable tanned calf leather. Vegetable tanned means that it is treated with plant-based tanning agent, which is chrome 6 free. The roughly 0.16” (4mm) thick leather is processed with a special procedure in which its robust structure is transformed into a lace-like structure at certain points, whereby the Lace sleeve expands form to the MacBook.
Real leather is a natural product. There might be slight colour variations occurring since every skin takes up the colour differently.
